Apps vs. Sites: Which Is the Ultimate Champion for Quick Mobile Birthday Card Sending?

It’s 8:00 AM. You wake up, check your phone, and a notification flashes: “Today is Maya’s birthday!”

Panic sets in. You don’t have time to run to a store, buy a physical card, hunt for a stamp, or wait three days for snail mail. You need to send something thoughtful, funny, or genuinely touching right now, using only the device sitting in your hand.

When it comes to quick, mobile-first birthday card sending, you have two primary routes: dedicated mobile apps (like Moonpig or American Greetings) or mobile-optimized eCard websites (like Punchbowl, Greetings Island, or Sendwishonline).
